DEACTIVATE Pop-up Blockers?

We have identified 3 different Pop-up Blockers that are most popular today. However, we at T.H.E. cannot bypass these Blockers. Only the user may disable or enable the Pop-up Blockers from functioning.

  1. Windows XP SP2 Pop-up Blocker (bundled with Service Pack 2)
  2. Google Bar Pop-up Blocker
  3. Yahoo! Pop-up Blocker

Windows XP SP2 Pop-up Blocker

When you have installed the latest version of Windows XP's Service Pack from http://www.windowsupdate.com you will find that there is a Pop-up blocker installed along with the Service Pack. The Pop-Up Blocker exists as a menu item on Microsoft Internet Explorer under the Tools Menu Bar (refer to the screenshot on the right).

To disable this Pop-up Blocker's function, here are the instructions:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Scroll down to Pop-up Blocker
  4. Select Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.

Google Bar Pop-up Blocker

Remember to set the Google Bar to not block any pop-ups received from www.the-teamwork.com

As you find sites that have pop-ups you want to see, click the pop-up blocker button to add that site. Repeat this process as you find websites where you want to see pop-ups.

Yahoo! Bar Pop-up Blocker

When you have installed the Yahoo! Toolbar, there is also a Pop-up Blocker installed with it. When visiting www.the-teamwork.com please disable the Pop-up Blocker. Here are the instructions:

  1. In the Pop-Up Blocker menu, you can select Enable Pop-Up Blocker to check or uncheck the menu item.
  2. Pop-Up Blocker is on and enabled when it is checked, and it is off when it is unchecked.
